Julkifli Bensali is an HRDC-Accredited Trainer and Shariah compliance specialist with over 17 years of progressive in-house experience across the Malaysian banking and takaful industries.
His flagship offering is the Shariah for Non-Shariah module suite — a structured training programme designed for staff who operationalise Shariah-compliant products without sitting in the Shariah function itself. Tailored versions are delivered across Islamic banking, takaful, Islamic capital market, cooperatives, and other Shariah-compliant product industries. He also delivers focused programmes on Takaful Shariah Compliance, Shariah Governance & BNM Shariah Standards, and Shariah Audit & Review.
Julkifli's training is grounded in a career spent inside the institutions he now trains — CIMB Bank, OCBC Bank, Etiqa Takaful, Kenanga Investment Bank, Bank Rakyat, and Asian Finance Bank — covering Shariah governance, assurance, advisory, review, and audit, including direct engagement with Shariah Committees and senior scholars.
He is a Fellow of the Association of Shariah Advisors in Islamic Finance (ASAS), a Subject Matter Expert on the Asian Institute of Insurance (Aii) SME Resource Pool, and holds the CRC, CBA, and CPSA professional certifications. He read Shariah and Judiciary at Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), and is currently authoring a book on the Shariah compliance journey in the takaful industry.
